It runs! But have a few small bugs to work out of it still.

At idle and quick tap to 2500-3000rpm.

      Onward to the next thing....

So i'm starting the 383 stroker swap in my S15. Not much to see, i took the front end off and i'm starting to tare into it. Going to change it over to manual streering and brakes. Plus i'm eliminating the AC and heater. There's not going to be any fenderwells in it either since i got fenderwell headers for it that will be open all the time.

The motor is a run of the mill 383 stroker 4 bolt main. .600 solid lifter cam, Harland Sharp 1.5 roller rockers, World Product Sportsman heads that have been ported and valves will be punched out to 2.08 1.60, still need to do the valves they are at 2.05 1.60 now. Milodon gear drive, CSR electric water pump, Mallory dist, MSD ign, Eldelbrock McFarland Torklink intake, 850 carb. Trans is a TH350 with a 5000 stall converter. I'm undesided on the rear. I got a Dana60 that could be narrowed down.

I just pressure washed it and was messing with it.

Just seeing what the fenderwell header will look like.....

Here's what the truck looked like before i started, and will look the same once back together, unless i deside to do a tunnel ram with two fours..

          No, 5.7L=350. I'm putting in a 383=6.3L

Nice, I was always a fan of a big american v8, cept it wasn't very realistic for me being only 16. One day....

It don't matter about age. My first car had a mild 318 in it.

I don't have a set date, but would like it done for spring time car shows. And the pictures are put up the same day as i work on it. I'm just doing this in my spare time after work. And thanks for the complent on the Firehawk.

Has an almost E-body nose to it.

Great looking car! Was it very heavy?

Yeah the front does kind of look like a 70 e-body Plymouth. I never had it on any scales, but IIRC they weigh around 3,100lbs. It was my daily driver untill JR year of high school. Then i got a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 factory 383 4bbl car. Although i did have a 83 S-10 truck and then a 85 s-10 blazer to drive in the winter time while i was in high school.
