very cool projects, you really dont waste any time.

my buddy has an 01 ws6 and any work under the hood of that thing is justa pain in the neck. GM should have put an access inside the car to get to those 2 last spark plugs...

It has a set of 3.55's in it. But i'll still put the 4 speed in it later on.

The plugs are a pain to get to. But with a set of headers, it's alot easier to get to them. Well atleast on the LT1's that is. Not to for sure about the LS1's.

You're Corvair looks immaculate, any pics of the outside? You don't see old american Muscle down here very often (asided from the odd Mustang or Camaro). Looking good Jason!

Started to work on the Firehawk again. Put the trans back in it and ordered some more things for it,

Some spects on the engine, cause i don't think i listed it:

stock heads that have been ported, Comp Cam valve springs.

Stock intake ported matched to the heads with a BBK 58mm TB
                      Meziere electric water pump

The wheels (should be here this week)

                      pretty valve train

And i covered it up with the stock covers painted Pontiac blue to match the rest of the engine.

The car is dirty from sitting around. But the wheels got here today. i just flopped them on, and the centers aren't pictured. But i kind of like them without the centers. I think im going to get 275/45/17's for the front and 295/35/18's for the rear. I could put 315's in the rear but some "work" would have to be done to the wheelwells.

Ordered the rest of the stuff for it

                          4.10 gears
                          adj. panhard bar
                          radiator
                          160 thermostat
                          tires 275/40/17 front 295/35/18 rear
                          exhaust
and sent the PCM out to Madtuner to get reprogramed

I put it all on exept the gears, panhard bar, and the rear wheels/tires.

I did start the car with the untuned PCM and open headers in it and it fired off. So now i need to wait for the PCM to get back and i need to put in the gears and it should be ready for the road. Plus a good cleaning cause it looks like a mess in the pictures. And the garage will get a good cleaning too.

I can't wait to get this thing out and running

Sorry, as much as i'd like to get a Typhoon. At this point in time it's not in my wallets best interest. :o

Yea you mentioned once in a "what would you buy with yada yada" thread you wanted one. I f'in love those things. There was a clean one for sale by me for 10k, it sold before I could go see it. They're such sick sleepers, I mean who would expect an old ass suv to run a 5.3 0-60 stock?
