I have, don't worry. Turbo can be had for cheaper than the S52; that's the biggest reason for me.
One of my friends is a district manager for Volvo trucks but started out as a mechanic. He knows nearly everything there is to know about turbos; diesel or not. He'll be helping me out with it.
No, I'll have to look for some pictures

Worked on the car for a few more hours today, got the rear bumper off, the gauge cluster and center console out, and the steering wheel off. I might tackle the fog lights/front bumper tomorrow, but I have to leave for GA early, so it might not happen.
Got this bad boy in the mail this week, so I had to put it to good use. It's invaluable: The Bentley Manual

Used a flat head to take the BMW roundel off of the wheel, and used a 7/8" socket to remove the bolt. The correct size is 22mm I believe, but 7/8" works. According to the manual, it's supposed to be torqued to 60 ft lb, but it felt like a lot more to get it off. I had to use a metal pipe on the end of the socket to get more leverage.

Took me a minute to figure out how to get the bumper off, but I'm glad I figured it out; they're effing ugly.
Remove 2 bolts from the rear, one is under the car, the other in the trunk

Started on the lower valence; it's gonna be scrapped.

Disconnect the signal indicators

In order to get more room under the car, as I don't have any jack stands, I decided to take the horn off so I could see where the bolts for the front bumper are

ADD kicked in and I switched to the interior again before the front came off
Remove nut for the rear ashtray

Remove nut for the rest of the console

There are also two plastic screws on either side of the center console toward the very front of the car, under the glove box and kick plate.
Here's what she looks like as of this afternoon, trunk full of parts

And does anyone know what this connector goes to? It's just dangling in my engine bay.

If I don't do any work tomorrow, I will on saturday.

Worked on the car for a few hours yesterday; I got a lot done.
Started out with the dash; I already had the wheel/cluster/glove box out, so I had to get this panel off.

Dash still in

Dash out; I ended up taking the A pillar trim out, it made things a lot easier.

Rear seat out, anyone want to buy it?

Finally got the fender off

I found a little bit of rust under the carpet. What's the best way to fix this? I was thinking of hitting it with a wire brush and then spraying it with some some rust protection of some sort, haven't figured that bit out yet.

I put the seat back in in case I need to move it

Another question, how should I go about fixing this? It's the only rust on the entire body of the car
