    Bmw Motor Swap

    ok so i want to do a m3 motor and tranny swap into a 89 325i
    is it possible?
    if so what mods will i have to do and what is the price range?
    will an e36 motor fit?

    I think you need to change the booster too, but i'm not too sure. Check the site, there may be a thread that may help you with answers somewhere.

                    Yes the s50/52 are m3 motors and they will definetly fit because 100's/1000's of people have done the swap. This forum is more for people who have actually started their project. Try this link http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=129 and search around.

                          i would be more impressed if you imported a modern BMW 4 cylinder and put that in.

                              Hell no. Run the 1600 motor with dished pistons from a 2002 turbo. Match that with a 2.9 diff and you'll be bat shit insane fast
