It happens to the best of us..

              Minor update:

clutch master installed, shifter installed, drive shaft installed, half of engine wiring placed...just need to tidy things up, plug it up, do the fluids, charge the battery...bleed the clutch...yikes...so..lol...still a bit left but we're on target for the sunday drive.

                Thar she blows!!!

She's running very well....cranked up second try...forgot to hook up the starter...doh!

I'll have her on the road either tuesday or wednesday, I need to finish the exhaust hanging and bleed the clutch.

OH...and I was getting smoke from the manifolds...I think the combination of new gaskets and manifold paint may have caused it...manifold shot for sh!ts and giggles

                Other pics..

Thanks to all that helped/supported...:) The real grin will be when I put her in gear the first time...Manual Tranny FTW!!

OH...there is one problem thus far...tachometer is not working...maybe its a fuse, but who knows..

                  Sweet!

The burn off from the exhaust manifold could be a little from your painting but its usually the oils and grease on them left by your hands after the install.

Always liked this project. cant wait to see some good photo shoot pictures at some point.

More than likely on the grease, and thanks for the interest in the project, and I too am looking forward completion and pics...

Your tach may be acting up due to S.I. Board discharge.
It should go back to normal once battery is left connected.

                      Looking good :)

I have a feeling its related to a blown fuse, as my reverse lights weren't working either and it seems they share a fuse, so I'll check that tonight and update regarding...I hope I can get a jump on the clutch as well...

Damn dude! Lot going on here since last i checked. Wish i could come lend a hand, but you've seen all the projects we have here.

Hopefully we can do a vert cruise sometime soon. Can't wait to see yours in person. Let us know if you need any misc odds and ends when you're finished. The parts cars have come in handy with Vlad's reassembly. Lot's of insignificant pieces were robbed from them.
