good luck with the ride, a plastic bumper m10 oem car still weirds me out.

That will be one hell of a setup, I'm stoked to see it all come together.

yeah, an engine stand costs about 400-600 dollars here. I know my homemade one is kinda ghetto, but it is 600 dollars I can spend elswhere. there isnt a big market here for that kind of stuff-- heck I work at a BMW dealership, and we dont even have a motorstand there!!!
I realized that about the leverage point-- after i welded it! its alright, I will only have to turn it upside down a few times at max, and if it takes 2 people, then thats ok too.
yeah, i liked the green too, but in that color, it was still known as the old owners car- even after 8 years.

so, here are a few updates.
yesterday, I went to the barn/garage, and pulled the car out. Drove it home with the M10- and it actually ran really nice. woke up this morning and realized the M10 must go away.
so here are a few parts that are laying around- need to be put on one day.
not going to need this since i decided to go MS.
an extra manifold. I am going to try the ebay manifold first, but have this as a back up. notice the nice blanket so the turbo doesnt get cold at night. gotta love M113a3 military track vehicles. no the turbo on that manifold wont be used.
so here is a bit of what I did today by myself.
as it looked this morning.- after church of course.
pulled the front apart- planned on mounting the intercooler today, but decided it would be more fun to yank the motor.
pulled the fender since it was junk too.
up up and away.
started to run the battery cable to se the battery in the trunk.
you can see the axles hanging, i even pulled the non LSD out-- I am going to slap in a 3,64 LSD that I have around.
the interior as of now. it wont be receiving to much either.Last edited by mikeedler; 02-03-2008, 09:44 AM.

Might work well if you can get the intercooler to sit there nicely.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube
