after finding out one of the rear calipers was stripped i got another one and bolted it on.

Put some oil in and wound up the oil pressure to find i had missed covering up one of the holes that provides high pressure oil to the vanos unit. So Had to plug that up and oil pressure was reached.

    Then was next onto wiring.
This is what it looked like in S50 Wiring style

mounted the battery back in the boot where it started life origionally

Then started pulling it down to bare requirements which a mate had helped me with.

    got it to this point

filled her up with fluids and after a quick fix up with the haltech software this happened

Just stumbled across this thread. Absolutely perfect mate! Good to see more nice E30's in Australia. There just aren't enough around that are done right.

                      Thanks guys.

Yeah there are a lot of useless wires when your using an aftermarket ECU. It will make it a lot easier to diagnose problems too (if i have any). Just have to make a aluminium board to mount everything on.

What are you running on the front? Skyline calipers with *insert name* rotors?

Must be getting awefully close now!

unfortunatly be30mer i will not be going turbo or supercharged at this point in time. As i have used up my allocated time frame to build my car. Have to concentrate on other things in life.

                            Chris

12mm thick plate milled down to 6mm at the ends. i have the drawing for you in CAD if you wish.

one thing i didnt count on with the rotor is that the rotor hat thickness is 3mm thinner than the E30 one. so on the hub it has a locating spigot for the disc and then goes down to another locating spigot for the wheel. currently the wheel when done up stops 3mm short of the disc... so im going to be running a 3mm spacer plate between the disc and the wheel. I have Studs on the front and still have 8 left over so will be putting 70mm long studs on the rear too and bolting the spacer down through the disc and onto the hub.

The rotors i got for free. The calipers were $140 for the pair.

on the front is Lee's Race big brake kit.

getting close. just need to finish off pedal box once i get the accelerator cable

Nice catch there on the hat thickness! What is the diameter of the Supra rotors?

                              Lee makes very nice kits!
