Things are moving forward as planned for the May event.

Spec Exhaust guy cashed my check and I was supposed to have an exhaust by now - but, as of yet . . . nothing. I am sure he will come through - just hope it is in time.

Safety gear is trickling in - got my new FIA approved harnesses (5 years!) and ordered the nets.

I may or may not have the HANS before the DE.

Also debating whether to just go ahead and bite the bullet and get a fire system and not just a bottle. If I am contemplating running any KP events, I have to under the new CCA rules.

Just DE - Comp School is the Friday of the July MidOhio event - and I plan to get through that and make the maiden races that weekend.

Sure you could run the Imp. One of the other guys building a Spec Car has video from Putnam where he got stuck behind a Camry and a non-SHO Taurus!!!!

Hell, there's plenty of corn around if you run low on fuel!

I spent most of the post-April months negotiating a merger of my law practice with another firm, and from July on, working at said new firm.

Life gets in the way - you understand that, right? :)

I will be on track, in the car, at the Buckeye CCA Great Pumpkin event at Mid-Ohio October 25-26. I will get some pics when life gives me the chance. When I have spent time with the car, its been with a wrench, and not a camera.

JP, if you are reading, I got the car to the CCA event last weekend. Ran like a champ. I have some electrical gremlins to sort out, but, no excuses when it comes to next season's events.
