no water or power right now. I will have power once it warms up here and I can dig a trench to run power.

        I plan to run
        power (220v)
        gas
        phone
        cat5
        cableTV
line to open the garage door from the house
        maybe intercom....

YES, I am having the concreate made thicker in the back for a lift. My builder said he has done other jobs where people installed lifts and it was fine on 4" slab. I am going to thicken to 5" back where the lift will be.

I will have to run a floor plate lift as my ceiling is only 10' That is the max the city will allow. The lift will actually stick into the ceiling about 2". Shouldn't cause an issue tho.

The lift probably won't come for a year or two. But I will have one

Yeah, a lift would be a "nice to have" but the biggest improvement is definitely having a nice smooth and level concrete surface to work on the car! Congrats on getting a garage erected in such short order. :)

No water run to the building? That'd be a must for me.

I live in Michigan and I would have to go down at least 4 feet so it doesn't freeze and then it would freeze coming up to the garage in the winter......

I have a outside spout and a hose if I really need water out there, in the spring, summer, fall months

Here are a couple of pictures of the inside. As you can see I am still waiting on concrete. I am hoping to see it when I get home tomorrow or tuesday....

It is hard to judge size right now. But it is pretty big....and will fit 3-4 cars...

I have concrete now. I started moving things in today. I need to wait about another week before I can part on it. So no cars yet.

My work bench is a 100lbs+ stainless steel ELEVATOR door. I need to clean it up but it should work great. 2' x 7'

                              On to some pictures
