surely youve finished the pinstripe but for adhesive that wont come off use a mixture of rubbing alcohol and goo gone. and scrub. that was the only thing that worked for me.

Jean-I have a tan carpet for sale in Oakland. $60 takes it. I need the room in my garage. Check it out. I had floor mats all it's life. Very small hole from using a pedal auto-lock on the clutch pedal.

Front control arms are ready to come off (I need a long extension to get the nut/bolt from under the hood on the front subframe), front sway bar is off, lower tranny shield is out, cat is ready to come off as well (need a long extension again to get the last couple nuts). Will tackle drive-shaft/diff a little later and then fuel tank and steering rack as well. Making a list of things this car will need as I remove parts....

No real progress, I hate working under the car on my back, so just a small update.

Head / manifold gone, exchange for a 3.25 lsd :)

Diff is ready to come off and then sub-frame

                Front suspension, or lack of

A long way to go

Good question :) I might give that a try, extra weight of the diff should help the subframe to drop right ?

Nice find. I will always by an e30 for $400 no matter what the condition since parts are hard to find.

Maybe in Millington TN. E30's are dime a dozen here especially early cars. Go to Atlanta, and the E36 is dime a dozen in junk yards. Actually, so are E30's. FYI

nice! i got my 89is, schwarz for 400 bucks...no body damage, but a lot of miles and the auto tranny only went in reverse. I just sold enough parts to break even, and i have a free chasis for my s52 5lug car.

                              great find!

That's sick! I am not sure what I would choose, 5spd with a little front damage or no damage but having to do an auto-to-5spd swap :p
