Wooooah, looks like this is where the 318i adventure continues! Wish I lived closer, there aren't too many people building e30s to high standards.

Subframes, front sway hot tanked and ready to be re-inforced and painted :)

$20 for a machine shop to remove the old worn out subframe bushings.

Fuel tank is deff. coming out next, and I gotta take the trailing arms apart (WOOHOO rear wheel bearings) to get them blasted and re-inforced as well.

Nice! I'd rather pay someone 20 bucks and have them remove the rear bushing then trying to tackle it myself with a blowtorch. LoL

And miss out on all that blowtorch goodness/madness?

            $20 is pretty reasonable though.

Gene, I will say again, your attention to detail is nuts. I think they should name a disorder after you.

Alright, new hardware on it's way from blunt and more to come. Trailing arms are all apart, going to drop them off to a machine shop in the next hour or so for wheel bearing removal and hot tanking....

I think I found a 80k mile ZF tranny with a fresh clutch, flywheel, driveshaft and radiator from a 328 for $350. Or tranny only for $200.

I know the tranny/flywheel I want for sure. Now, the driveshaft should work if it's 4 bolt yes? radiator I don't know, I want one with built in overflow tank.

$60 per side (plus bearings) for rear wheel bearing job and cleaning the trailing arms FTW.

Man, that seems cheap. I have to do mine, but for $60 it does not seem worth the aggravation of doing it myself.
