my project...e34 m5 turbo....

figured i'd use this forum as my project thread, alot more laidback over than bf...

some you know me as the annoying dude that hangs out with cramer and parks away from all the e30's at the gtg's..

so anyways here it is...

1991 bmw m5, 142000 miles...currently has dinan chip, euro cam gears, dinan intake with 4" maf and exhaust...

recent work includes all new brakes, front end rebuild, guibo, driveline, recaro's, pretty much all the wear and tear items...

so onto the upcoming motorwork..

picked up a block for 450 bucks...was complete...

has 8:1 compression je forged piston with hardened wrist pins..rods will be factory as they are forged from the factory and the crank also, so they will get a good polishing, lightening, and balanced with arp's...

cometic headgasket, arp headstuds, turbonetics hp76 turbo, custom intake manifold, 1000cc injectors, full aeromotive fuel system, dfi ems, and uuc clutch package...

also making my own coilovers using afco sleeves, h&r springs and koni adjustables...

i will post some pics later of everything and update this thread when needed...

goal is to have it finished by the e30 meet and park across the street!!

NICE to see another HD93. what build date is yours? do you have rear buckets? planning on deleting sls i assume? these cars are alot of fun, and the motor was built for boost.

with the aggressive look, your car would benefit from mtec mirrors.
