more current build thread...but not alot top update..i have since decided to replace every part available in the motor. so that added a couple thou to the budget!! but as of right now, one order away from finishing the motor parts and off to assembly to mr. jr nagy who will be assembling it..

everything will be new as far as timing gear, chains, sprockets, oil pump, valves, pistons, rods, bearings, everything...

it is gettin there, but some of these parts are not cheap and i am still on a budget til the wife is working consistently..

That engine would look killer in my 240z...Love the car, would make love to the tailpipe given the chance. Be glad you aren't local, I hear that stuff can gum up the exhaust.

the gli at the time had full warranty, airbags, only 2 years old and we had owned it since new....all around felt like a safer car...

the m5 is a raw car, fun, but raw...

no pics of the rabbit...it was just basically a clean shell with a mound of parts...parted it and made close to 10k on it...made quite abit extra in my pocket off that build...

few pics of the new lips...the old rears are becoming the fronts, s0 18x9.5's with 3" lips...the old fronts are becoming the new rears..so 18x10.5 with 5" lips...

my buddy andy who did the bodywork on my jetta is doin the bodywork to make em fit a bit better...245's up front and 295's in the rear...
