Sounds like you have a burnout phase coming. Taking off month of August from school?

Yea it's nice to see it look different. With work from 7-430 and class from 6-11 its tough to be motivated during what little free time i have.

    UPDATE!!?!:

I finally got a week off school so i'm cracking down on the e30 pickup. Actually made some decent progress yesterday and will be working on it every day after work. The goal is to have it all preped and ready for paint by this weekend.

First thing i started with was the support for the rear floor. I'm using this part to create a super stong traqiler hitch as well as getting the weight back into the rear. It ties into the square section of unibody on either side and to where the rear diff mount is. (Pics were taken after a few hours of sanding, dont mind the dust)

I got the sunroof panel all tacked in and about a third of it fully welded.

While i was doing that my buddy started getting the body ready to go, left front fender, door and the hood are almost perfect and the drivers rear is in progress.

It's getting there, i finally decided what i want to do for the final version of the tailgate and rear floor. I should be able to tinker with it this weekend.

Plans have been made to get it painted this summer...

That sounds sweet. Does your boss have a build thread anywhere? I would love to follow the progress.

I want to start it this summer. I just don't know what to do about the rear passenger doors when I chop it. I guess just weld them into place? Does anyone who follows this thread know of any 5-series pick up build threads?

Keep us posted on your build! I can not wait to see more!

His own website has exceeded it's bandwidth but may come good at a later date.
