    i know its a whole nother ball game, but how come noone ever makes a functioning tailgate? i think that's what makes a truck useful

      I agree, thats exactly why I'm making a functioning tailgate with the trunk lid spoiler.

      I can see why no one does, its a pain to rig up a hinge so that it clears the rear bumper. I think i have it figured out but I'm waiting on some bumpers to mock it up.

              I'll be building walls for the sides. The floor will be similar to how it is now but with a hatch over the spare and a second hatch over the rear seat location, that way i can store tools and such.

              and your tire is on backwards
