your making the e30 community proud, now go and make and e30 or e30 m3 hatch the way it should be done!
Thanks man, i hadnt heard about these e30 hatch's and did some googling... that may become a future project. Not that i don't have enough projects going on at once ;)
More progress pics will be taken today. Got a bit more metal work done last night and should be able to wrap some up today
I'll take some more pics of the 02 with my next update. Its actually my dads car that we just picked up for a ridiculous deal. It's been hit in the front so its going to be a father/son restoration dealy.
Ok so for the past few days ive mainly focused on the bed rails and the structure in them. Inside both rails is a section of black iron pipe connecting the B pillar to the rear of the truck.
Pics!!
One of the brace pipes that connects to the other one under the rail.
The bed rails are fairly straight and only need a few touch ups here and there
Open bed... plenty of space for parts
Tailgate on
The trunklid spoiler looks great and pulls together the tailgate in my opinion, you can see my beginnings of bracing what will be the tailgate. (note the new toy in background)
