You're crazy dude...next time a good deal comes around, I want you to go:

"hmm, this $XXX I'm spending on yet another ________...what else could I get with this that I'll actually use? Front suspension? Body parts? Hartge sticker set?"

I do this ALL the time...and usually end up buying nothing because I'm unemployed...fuck my life...wait, what was I saying?

Well I didn't get a chance to read this advice before I hit the road today sooo I bought some stuff. I'll post pictures of it all here soon but here's what I scored!!! :up: (I raped a 1985 323 today) :

- Front Euro Bumper
- Rear Euro Bumper (including both end caps :D)
- Large tool kit (almost complete)
- German Check panel
- Door Tweaters
- Euro Fog light switch
- German 13 button OBC
- Front & Rear roundels (for the hell of it)
- Black floor mats (front drivers & both rear)
- Shift knob
- Shift boot
- Euro front lip (it had air ducts for the brakes but they were attached to the wheel well plastic and too hard to get...or I was lazy. I broke them :oops:)
What did I pay for all this??? $50!!!
(Did I forget anything? Should I go back?)

Also in the mail I received a couple things today:

- Euro rear plate filler
- Smoked bumper lights

I just find the cars through the Department of Licensing and then go out to where they live and borrow parts from them. Its not stealing because I always leave a couple bucks on the seat.....well unless I take the seat, then I just leave it on the floor boards.

Best way to find cheap stuff is to know people who know people. Also people seem to like me. I was nice to the guy yesterday, spent time looking at all his other cars/bikes and I even removed some parts off his car for free to be nice. I could have got the stuff for less than $50 but I didn't need to really bend him over.

He hacked the heck out of the front of the car just to get the motor pulled. He admitted that he may have ruined a bunch of stuff.

Another funny thing is that he had this black 325is that I'd wanted to buy before I had an e30. It got sold out from under me and it turned out he had been the one to buy it! Thing has a full hartge kit!!!!!!! A rare one I've never really seen and its really good looking. I didn't know anything about it at the time I was looking to buy the car other than it looked cool.
