Life isn't complete without an e30 - My new project

I moved to southwestern Michigan from western Canada in August of 2019 to go to school. Recently picked up an e30 project for the heck of it.

    It's a 1986 325e, 2door, manual, with 114k miles.

Came from Texas so it's pretty clean, except for destroyed paint on any horizontal surface, and some isolated rust in weird places. From what I can gather, the car was left sitting for a very long time.

No idea what the end goal for this thing is. So far I've gotten it running, installed a set of BBS rz 322's, cleaned out the car, replaced some fuel lines, and installed a new battery. Next step is maintenance and lowering the car.

I need to replace the windshield and the passenger door seal, and figure out why the coolant gauge doesn't work.

Enjoy some pics, and I'll try to update this as I do more to the car.

Nice monster truck. My first e30 was a 86 325e in black, not as clean as your though.

Monster truck E30 is better than no E30. Id rock it. Some days its nice not worrying about rough roads, just cruising.
