anyway, started out on my own 1200s about 20 years ago. these days, industry standard is pioneer CDJs. but your argument stands; if you can't work a platter, you're not a DJ.

and if you insist on vinyl, i produced a show around that theme at the club i used to work during lockdown; we did web shows for donations to keep the place alive. i don't play here, my vinyl collection is gone because i couldn't take it with me when i went army, but i managed to summon a few old-school djs i knew from back in the day. it was a great night.
