    Who's into longboarding?

Just picked mine up yesterday from a friend who bought it a few years ago and never rode it. It's a Surf One with clear spray-on grip tape, with Independent trucks and I just put some brand new Arbor 65mm wheels with Sector 9 Greaseball bearings on it. It rides super-nice, but I definitely need to get some proper longboard trucks on it.

I hadn't been on any kind of skateboard in years, so it took a little bit for it to come back to me, but once it did I had a blast. I was out for about 4 hours today with a friend from work, and had a ton of fun. Here's a few shots:

    I haven't longboarded in a while.
I usually grab my old school and shred bowls.
    something like this:

    and doing this:

But shredding hills with that is super fun when you powerslide.

        I have a Landyachtz Mummy:

About 60% of the people in my college skate to/from classes, because our campus is long, skinny, and slightly downhill to the academics side. There's also some nice hills around.

Not really at all, it's just getting your balance down. I'm still kinda squirrelly, probably will be for a little while at least.

Bombed a few moderate hills, wobbled a little, but still fun.

^ Randall 180, awesome truck for any discipline. Even better when you match it with the appropriate bushings.

+1 on Randall 180s. Nice and wide.

                        What's wrong with the indy's?

I've been lusting after a nice sector 9 for years

                        Pinepig, I've got a 8'6'' funboard and a 4'6'' victoria skimboard :)

indy's are known to be heavy. I am using Randall's on my board and I love them. Longboarding FTW! The PNW definately has some awesome places for it too.

it took a little while for my ankles to get strong enough to not wobble a lot. it goes away pretty fast though.

i ride mongo though, so i look like a fool. it doesn't effect you as much on a longboard though as it does when you're doing trick on a short deck.
