Outdated yes, but my point still stands.
OMG 100 people died oh crap!! We are all dead!!! Seriously, this is just some more over hyped shit. Bird flu omg! Salminla omg! DID I MENTION WE ARE OUT OF CHICKEN!!!!
Seriously, I bet more people die from fucking diarrhea than this thing has killed.
I can't believe people buy into this "the sky is falling" bullshit when theres things that are 43838x more deadly floating around that no one could give a crap about.Rollin' with a Geistkuchen

There were two people in my city that were confirmed to have this swine flu, but both were deemed mild cases and these infected people are expected to be ok in a few days.

A friend of a friend has been in Mexico City and picked it up...mostly over it now, was just like a really bad case of a typical flu
Not worried about it...blown out of proportion by the media like everything else. IF it starts killing off mass amounts of people that aren't elderly, immuno-compromised, or in third world countries, then I'll start worrying...

I'm not saying it will happen with this one, but it could.

I wonder if there have been a study to compare our immune system now compared to one of 50 years ago.... seems like people nowdays turn to drugs for every little thing and get sick more often....Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Anyway, ever think that medical care fucking sucked back in 1918? People were more hardy? Maybe, but they also had nothing to treat with and they didn't understand disease nearly as well as today (and also maybe because the weak died off young because of lack of medical care). Also, people were frequently undernourished and often missing important parts of the diet.
An epidemic could still happen given the right stuff, but I seriously doubt swine flu is it. To label it as a potential pandemic is just a tad premature.1987 E30 325is
