    Damn

One of the guys here didn't show up for work this morning and as it turns out he got killed this weekend on his motorcycle.

I am kind of shocked, we wernt friends or anything but I knew him well enough to say hey in the break room.

Everone was bitching about him being a no show all morning and now like shit everyone is just weird.

What an asshole, showing up late to work. I hate people like that!

Naw, sorry to hear. I've had two friends of mine thus far die in motorcycle accidents. No bueno.

It's not somebody you spent any quality time with getting to know them on a personal level.

I lost one of my students ( I'm a flight instructor ) a few weeks ago, He died in his new experimental airplane while flying off the test hours. I'd spent quite a few hours with him just like all my other students, I was pretty sad when I found out because I had a personal investment in this individual. Without spending time with a person exchanging life ideals and whatnot a certain detachment would be expected.

Just remember, you're still looking on the right side of the lawn so it'll be alright.

That sucks dude. I was riding my bike today and had some fucking clownshoe do a rolling stop at and stop sign a whip out in front of me......one of those moments that pucker my asshole a bit. The mentality I try to sustain when on the bike is everyone is out to kill me. None the less I'm sorry to hear about your co-worker.

This is why I won't get on a bike. My dad got messed up really badly when he was my age and had to spend a year in the hospital.

During high school I lost two good friends in fatal motorcycle accidents (separate events). That was all the convincing I needed.

Well, you didn't know him on a personal level. If you did, I'm sure you'd be way more crushed over this tragic incident.
