Maybe I'm just an asshole, but I talk maddd shit to people on the phone when it comes to customer service. Bank employees, paypal, UPS/Fedex, etc..
The only way to get what you want is to break it down like the people you are talking to are fucking idiots. Try it, it works well for me!

Meh, like the guy who posted after you said, you probably shouldn't be so condescending to those employees. What goes around comes around, and you don't want some angry UPS guy taking a piss on your E30 parts.

2nd Claim was rejected. I call back for a 3rd time and had to rip the guy a new one. He tells me they don't investigate a 3rd time and the case is closed. I continue to tear into him and he tells me to hold. He comes back almost 10 minutes later and tells me that he has found information regarding my case that has not been looked at and he is resubmitting the investigation for a 3rd time. WHAT THE FUCK. FUCK PAYPAL. They still won't tell me who this other guy is.

This is what I do, but once I get them so flustered because they can't resolve the issue, I ask to be transfered to their supervisor. Then when that convo begins, I'm nice as pie. Usually it gets them in trouble, and gets my problems solved real quick. Unless they are also incompetent, then I yell at them for a bit, then request their supervisor, and repeat process untill I get what I want.

This is usually how most customer service complaints have to be taken care of. My wife, who used to be a telemarketer and is a very nice person to most people, will scream and yell until she gets to the supervisor. Me, I just go right over their heads and ask for a supervisor immediately when I call. If you want it fixed right, go straight to the person that can make things happen. Cut out the middle man.

That only sometimes works. I once got the vice president of AOL on the phone after a marthon bitching session(no, I'm not making that up). I still didn't get things resolved.

                        First problem, AOL.

I have an awesome paypal story.

My friend has a G35 that was slammed on coils and was rocking some ballin' 20"x9.5 20"x11 Work VS-XX. He was building his car back to stock and was selling the wheels to a guy on G35driver.com. The guy sends him the paypal money and before it clears my friend meets up with him to give him the wheels (no shipping, no tracking number, no evidence). Well the payment never cleared and it was returned to the buyer. So paypal has pretty much nothing to do with this. BUT A few weeks go by and after hiring a PI to track this guy down we drive across the state and "repo" the wheels ourselves... Best "criminal" night of my life.

Because he was a scammer fuck who didn't have any money and had to "pay with his credit card"... No he never "suspected" him of it... I guess not anyway. My friend was later able to sell them for cash though.
