Dude - you seem upset - how much money did you loose? $10? How did you ship it. First class and didn't pay for proof did ya?
They have. It's just you were too cheep to pony up the $1.50 for delivery conformation.
That's fine - but I'll pass up your sales and go to the guy that will ship me something I need the next day. With you, I'll have to wait an extra week for you to get my check. You better be selling some good shit.
Get cash. Plus you really shouldn't be meeting strangers on the interwebs in real life.
You can get delivery conformation for not much more. It's like a buck or two.
You could have sent an empty box. But, if you are a ebay seller, or a forum seller, you won't last long sending out empty boxes. That is why there is feedback for sellers. You might sell 3 or 4 empty boxes before people start knocking on your door.
Yea, I would say you should have researched the seller's reputation before buying.
Everyone else seems to have figured out how this whole thing works - I'm not so sure why you are so late to the table?Last edited by george graves; 12-18-2009, 04:15 PM.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Haha... it looks like you're wet for a pissing match. Is that a dig? I'll see if I can keep up. ;)
Yeah, I was. When you sell hundreds of things online, $1.50 per purchase adds up. If you want I can send you a spreadsheet that shows you what $1.50 times 100 is. (times is the * on your keyboard if you want to do it yourself).
So paypal is good because its the only game in town? I may lose sales by not using paypal, but I sure as shit won't get jacked again by someone who charges 4% for the "service".
I can handle myself. If you'd rather do business from your mom's basement, who am I to argue? And the rest of us won't have to worry about you procreating.
I can pick apart a response line by line too. Amazing!
Seller feedback is a great thing. Ebay used to have something else called buyer feedback, which was equally great. And would have helped me resolve this situation by giving the buyer bad feedback. It wouldn't have helped me get my money back, but other people could help themselves not get scammed by the same a-hole.
Good for you! If only someone would listen...
If it wasn't for you, I'm not sure if I'd know where the FUCK YOU keys were. Thanks for the help! :D
Why not keep it OT and talk about Paypal's services instead of acting like a dick.M119 M42 M62 S52 S62Comment

Some guy uses my debit card number to buy a Mac Book (card was not lost or stolen, I have no idea how he got the numbers, and he was able to use my DC with no CCV on his PP). Bank of America starts an investigation and after a two days credits my account $2700 and change. PayPal identifies the crook but wont release any of his info due to their privacy policy. They want a subpoena from my local PD. Obviously, the police department doesn't have the resources to issue a subpoena. PayPal isn't filing charges against the perp - they said BofA should continue their investigation, which the haven't since the money was credited back. The perp got away with an expensive laptop and the shop selling the Mac Book got way screwed. Way to go, PayPal/eBay!I Timothy 2:1-2Comment
