Depends, I've had good experiences with PayPal, save two. I'd rather not deal with them, but it is just so easy to send and receive money when you're buying/selling stuff.
Flip a coin.

Back from the dead cuz FUCK PAYPAL!
I just closed my acct because some dbag "bought" something from me on ebay, i shipped as agreed (USPS), and he filed a claim saying he never got it. So they reverse the funds and want me to prove it was received. Well I can't, because there's no tracking number (I do have the receipt for the shipment but apparently that's worthless). Case settled for buyer because I can't prove it was received. WTF?! He can't prove it wasn't, and I've been an ebay/paypal customer w/100% feedback for damn near 10 years and I didn't get as much as a call from Paypal before they helped steal my money.
Fuck them. Fool me once, shame on you you fucks. I'm out.
/rant
BTW the customer service number is 866-648-5843. They wouldn't show me that number in their bullshit "customer service" page until I hit "close account" 5 times... mutherfuckers.

What do you want paypal to do? Didn't you know that is how it works? You should have.
If the item had a high enough dollar amount, you should have had tracking. If it wasn't worth it to pay th extra few dollars in tracking - then it's the cost of doing business.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Imagine being on the other end of the deal. You receive nothing, and the seller has no proof of shipment. You want PayPal to give the seller the money?
Take it as a lesson learned. Get a tracking number/delivery confirmation for every item you send, and keep it for way longer then you need it. I have folders FULL of receipts with tracking numbers.Comment

I love Paypal and wouldn't do business any other way.
It's convenient, easy, ultra secure, and whenever I call with an issue/question the Paypal support peeps always make it happen. Once they even pushed through the normal wait period for bank transfers and the cash was there the same day!
I don't know who's complaining about fee's because with the "send as gift" option you win every time!

Well I am most always the seller, so if they agree to that option, they understand what they are forfeiting.
Kind of a win/win as I see it, I get all my money they don't have to compensate for fee's.

The problem is that ppl take advantage of this and scam the system; I lose my money (and my items) as a result, paypal doesn't lose shit. That should be a cost that they pay to do business, not me. When they figure out a system that can't be beaten that easily, I'll consider coming back. Until then, fuck them.
Their "conflict resolution" or whatever the fuck they call it isn't any such thing. Its a computer program that says "if a=b, reverse funds". That's bullshit. Call me before you enable my money to be stolen.
I do take it as a lesson learned: a lesson not to use paypal. Basically their method of conflict resolution is completely flawed, and I will not use PP again until they fix it. Based on their system, if someone pays me and I don't prove *a box* was received at their address, I lose my money. What if I hand deliver the item? What if I want to ship it USPS ground? Paypal says "tough shit" and I lose my money. Fuck that.Originally posted by JGood+1

I could just as easily have sent an empty box to the buyer and scammed him, as long as I had a tracking number. Paypal's "conflict resolution" would have decided in my favor. Would you say to the buyer "take it as a lesson learned" after he lost his money?M119 M42 M62 S52 S62Comment
