i leave my board and a pair of board shorts and flops on the boat, so i can turn for the lake from anywhere and go.

I wish I was you. I love the new Wakesetters and how the tower goes forward. The Wakesetter is my favorite boat to ride behind.
What do you do to afford the boat?
What kinda board/boots do you have?

A boat only gets expensive if you don't keep up on the maintenance. Have it serviced at the beginning of the season EVERY YEAR, keep a cover on it (or even two). Yes, getting it serviced and filling it with gas etc will cost you some money, but no more than a car or any other toy would. It's just all the money is spent within the short boating season so it seems like it is a lot more.

If you've been wanting a boat, I'd say go for it. If it's just a good deal that passed your way, I'd think twice and ask yourself if you really want it or not.

i prefer wakesetters also, they are the hotness... when i saw the new 07 wakesetters for the first time, i set a goal and i reached it.

i love x stars and 210's also, but prefer the malibu. i wouldn't look at buying any other boats.

the only reason i have this boat is because i work my ass off. i work for a it consulting company 40hrs/week plus every 3rd week 24/7 shift, web development, and setup networks for an auction company on the weekends, usually once a month or twice a month on the weekends... plus no car payments help.

i have a 09 watson 142 (finless), and, haha, the 07 melissa boots... yes, white pink & teal. they are my backups, broke my shanes.
