Played last night again, since Sony turned on the presence servers; I was able to join a party (even though there was a work around by signing out, signing in, join game). The only downside was that my friend wasn't able to join my Special Ops game; however I could join his? It's a lot more exciting with two people...
Yeah, yesterday I was playing twice when the host was gone. Now from my understanding; when I am playing on TFC, the host leaves the game is completely over. With this, they find another host (I am assuming within the game) and the game is started back up with a count-down screen. I haven't seen this before (for example Warhawk doesn't do this, the game just ends and you lose your stats).
Yes I think the idea of dedicated servers are nice; you can get into a game with a low ping, the level you want, etc. But this option isn't terribly bad.
It should be interesting when MAG comes out (http://www.mag.com/). I wonder how they are going to handle that many players at once.
