    Interesting tech support call...

So I get a call today from a guy, I ask him his name, he says it's Gil Sharone. Now I KNOW this name sounds familiar, so I google it. First hit is the drummer for The Dillinger Escape Plan. So while we're waiting for some process to finish running, I randomly ask him if he's a drummer. He says yes, so I ask if he's the drummer for DEP. He goes "yup, that's me". I about freaked out, they're one of my all time favorite bands. He's not with them anymore, but he told me to take down his contact info, and next time DEP goes through the Northwest, he said to call him, and he'll get a hold of the band and have them put me on their guest list. He's still super-cool with all of them, and he said they'd do it for sure.

    SCORE! :D

      cool story bro.

No, but seriously that's really cool. 2 Halloweens ago I got to see Alice In Chains for free since my buddy was the ex-sound guy at the venue there. Guest list ftw!

Fucking awesome. Contacts are epic to have.

the guy that lives in the apartment across from me has become a really good friend. His cousin is the new guitarist (or maybe bassist) for Rise Against. He just uploaded these last week while he's on vacatoin in Texas..

                Neighboor left, Lead singer right.

He said when they come through cali or up to WA when im up there he will hook me up with backstage passes.

dude that great! I miss working in New Orleans, I met so many bands and people there working crew and sound. It was a great life! I took shots once with Zac de la Rocca from Rage Against the Machine backstage before they went on at Voodoo Fest.

The sleep function on his iMac wasn't working, it would wake itself up from sleep mode at random, he thought he had a virus or something.

Pssh newbs, Macs don't get viruses.

I used to work for Bose and the amount of stupid ass calls we would get was ridiculous. I had one lady come in screaming saying that she drove all the way over here, an hour away, and her POS radio is possessed because every day when she gets home from work it's playing full volume. Apparently most people don't know that they have an alarm clock built in, let alone a progressive volume alarm, so it keeps getting louder until you turn it off.

I'm sure you guys get all sorts of crazy people with ipod "problems" that you have to somehow polietly explain user error to.
