Throw on some extra gas cans, and that cute little miniature trash can they always have on the back and you got yourself a rig.

And yes, you have to take into account the cost spread over time - so - I'm right - and you are wrong - :D
Sure, and you buy yourself bottom of the line cars too, right?

Anyways, you're not going to change my mind - but I bet you can't resist posting a follow up.
    Just for you, chuckletits.

I'm on my third year with it now. I picked it up after my accident. It's great when you own an e30 lol.

Interestingly enough, I used up all three of my tows with my last car (a 97 Nissan) and have needed zero tows for the E30 so far.

        Knock on wood.

Put each penny in its own envelope.

That would cost more, plus stamps, and you can't mail cash. :(

I love AAA. I got towed 98 miles from the track. Just under the limit and only paid 50 bucks for a flat bed.

AAA Plus more than pays for itself. I couldn't believe it when they offered a 200 mile coverage for tow!!!

But I don't see how that would help if your car get's towed away for whatever reason??

hahaha this is like that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer demanded to pay with change the whole everywhere he went...giant, heavy pockets full of pennies and nickles.

No. Find some bulk thing of envelopes, then just go drop them off and tie it off like a bundle of mother fuckin' newspapers.

I had to pay over $300 to get my old X3 out of impound, and I BEAT the car to the yard. I watched it pull in, grabbed my reg, paid, and left...$300+

There is a serious racket going on in downtown Seattle.

I once got a golfcart towed an impounded, the impound lot was about 1500ft from where we got arrested, they charged $155 to get it out, including a fee for getting it out on a Saturday. So pretty much if you get towed Friday you either have to pay impound fees for Friday Saturday Sunday Monday, or pay a different fee for getting it on Saturday, when the person's there anyway.

Yep, I got towed at 7PM, called the towing agency, someone at the front desk picked up and said they were there so I could come get the car.

I go to the tow yard and they give me the bill

I ask why it's $100 more than last time I got towed

                              They itemize the receipt
                              $276 for the tow
$60 for a day of holding (I guess they round up from 30 minutes)
$108 for "after hours pick up"

Without saying anything I get up and as I walk out the door I tell him sorry for wasting his time

"That's okay, I was here anyway"
