There were like 3 other people picking up their cars too, so it's pretty obvious that he does a fair amount of business on Saturdays, yet all of us had to pay an extra fee for to grace us with his presence. I like the rounding up they did there, luckily this place had a certain time, I think 1pm, that if you pick it up before then you don't get charged for the day. We got towed at like 8:30pm and got it out around noon the next day, I'm pretty sure I only got charged 1 day.

The worst part of it--my backpack, with my TI-89 and textbooks was in the car (I had forgotten this until I got home). The next day I had an open-book engineering test.

Since she was in school and didn't drive her car much she didn't notice it was gone. a week later when she went to get it, she obviously saw it was gone. Called the school, they said they towed it, went to the tow company to get it, and they said they "had it too long and crushed it"

Now shes making payments on a car that's probably 900 toaster ovens by now.

Step up your games, hoes. Had a buddy who was given $500 (donated) for a lemons car. Then he changes his mind a few months later and wants his loot back. $250 in pennies and $20 in dimes, mixed up and in several huge totes showed up at his door. He returned the donation and we cashed that shit. It stopped the bitching. :)

I once paid $80 for a 5 mile tow that took him 15 mins. Fuck you grease monkeys - you are not worth $320 an hour - and I don't care how may little old ladies by the side of the road you help.

When my car was impounded a little while ago it was a 2.6 miler across the middle of town, and was like 185 dollars. Fuck tow companies.

Ended up being ~600 to get the car back though, 5 days at $50/day (Towed Friday at 8pm picked up Tuesday), the tow, and 100 something for a police release. Now I have 60 hrs of community service, which was also $75 to sign up for.

When I was in High school I used to always park my Tacoma next to one of the islands if there were not any spots left, I just always pulled at least one tire on the curb so they couldn't dolly the wheels and put it in 4low. whenever they towed cars they would call me into the office and make me move my car because they couldn't tow it. I think the principle thought it was pretty funny because she never really bitched at me about it, just told me they were trying to tow my truck again so I should go move it.

That was awesome how he paid in pennies. Anything to stick it to those dirty towing companies! If I end up getting fined for my ticket I will pay that in pennies to stick it to the dirty cops out there! Great Idea.

I think it would have been funnier if the officers arrested the guy for misuse of 911 after he got his car back.
