It's 2 deg in Latitude north of me. 10 hours too. I can come and visit you. Just imagine what that means in deciding your home. Do I want to live a days drive from Farbin? You gotta ask yourself those things.
Hey portland/PNW guys...

I was just down in Portland a couple of weekends ago. Every time I'm there I have such a great time. I saw more E30s in a day than I ever see up here. I'd seriously consider living there, especially if I was single. ;)__________________

Do it man...I used to live in PNW/Oregon for about 6 yrs then moved to TX. I absolutely loved living there.
I've been in a lot of places all throughout Oregon North(WA border), East, West and South of California border. You can't go wrong!
Hiking, outdoor activities, camping, the coast you name it. And you will love driving in OR too if you're from TX. I've been in San Antonio, DFW, Houston, Austin, etc trust me you will like it there.Comment

Portland is tits! If work didn't have me chained to the Puget Sound, I would move to portland in a Heartbeat.
Do you like the Coast? Saltwater is only 1.5 hrs away.
Do you like the Mountains? They are 1 or 1.5 hrs away, in two directions.
Do you like Desert? 2 hrs away.
Do you like e30s? They abound!
Do you like music? Awesome scene...
Do youi like titties? More Strip-Clubs per capita than any other cty!Comment

If I didn't LOVE seattle I would tell you to live in Portland.
I dunno what it is... I would just never give up seattle for portland. Although I am just 19 and haven't really been in portland much.
The PNW in general is WIN though. I love the weather, and Seattle isn't even in the top 10 for percip. I mean it is rainy, but it's mostly the clouds people notice. Summer here is pretty much unbeatable.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

I lived in PDX for 15 years.
I FAR prefer Seattle.
Portland is definitely second place in my book so maybe they try harder.Comment

I see that everyone refers to PDX, do the D and X represent other nearby towns in the metro area? All I could find with google was that it was the airport ID.Comment
-
PDX is the Airport id, people use it as an abbr. for the city also.
