Awesome. It feels so much better when you cultivate catch, grow, raise, hunt, your own food doesn't it? My family has a rural beach cabin up here in WA with a private strip of beach. We don't grow or raise our own food but there is TONS of seafood for the taking. I like to spend my days off there fishing for salmon, catching dungeness crab and collecting oysters, mussels and clams. It is so satisfying to prepare a meal from food that was just swimming an hour earlier. I hope to eventually get a vegetable garden going and raise some animals as well.Comment
