    BMW's New Turbodiesel Tron Hybrid

The BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept is a full hybrid powered by a three-cylinder turbodiesel connected to a pair of electric motors pumping out 265 HP and 590 lb-ft of torque. Oh, and it looks like it's from Tron.

            Reminds me of...

The body lines from the front end look similar enough, and the headlight placement and the location of the two cars' center grill is similar too.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Very sexy and I don't see resemblance to r8.

I was just commenting that by the two pics the front end has similar lines and the positioning of the kidney and the grill of the R8 as well as the positioning of the headlights were very similiar. The positioning, not how they look.

How about that 163Hp 3 banger turbodiesel? Add 1 more cylinder and sell it to us poor folk so we can make our old cars efficient.

regardless, the R8 is badass, so who cares?

it's a neat looking concept. I don't really look at it and see "BMW" though. The days of conservative, understated styling backed up by exceptional performance are long gone I guess.
