I messed up editing that, I was going to say that my mom was friends with some guy who designed guitars for steve vai. Then I remembered his name, Joe Satriani, she grew up with him, and he later introduced my mom to steve. The two of them design the Jem line, but I don't really know which one of them made the guitar.

I'll dig it out tomorrow and take a picture, and make a specific thread, I don't wanna completely highjack.

If you have a custom made guitar from either of the guys you mentioned in your possession then you're sitting on a decent amount of money. Only if you sell it to the right people though.
