The reasoning given by the Nobel committee makes sense to me. Several other US presidents have won before. Nothing really earth shattering. I think its a honor for the USA in general, and believe it will help on how we are viewed by the rest of the world.

I don't disagree with war but awarding a peace price to the president of a country currently at war with 2 countries is just fucking retarded. All he has done to get this award is run his mouth and bash Bush. Lets not give someone the award for doing something...that just wouldn't make sense.
