That red one is sweet! I like that oil cooler hidden up in there…but kind of vulnerable. Looks like repro Pirellis CN36 tires too. All very nicely done.

What you are seeing looks like the guard for a front AC condenser to me.

I was two doors down from these guys in the paddock that weekend, working on the MX-5. I think they were the highest placed Cayman, we got by them on the last green lap.
