      I'm thinking about trading the e30 for a 944.

      Discuss.

^^^ Much more expensive to maintain, doing anything in the engine bay is a nightmare. Even the Turbo is still quite slow. Cough cough :timing belt: Still, I would trade for a 944 Turbo S because I quite enjoy the ride and interior. Still quite convenient for grocery runs and such.

No way on the 944. Not next to a clean e30 in practicality, looks, or fun.

          968 turbo car maybe..

And what is up with that exhaust on that late model????

you gotta think of the car AT the time of its RELEASE. for back in the day they were pretty damn quick

But we were talking about the fact that its used with an rwb kit which makes it look crazy fast but in fact it's all show and no go, when it was originally released it was quick but it's not now

944 is sexiness, fairly easy to work on, parts are obviously more than e30 but still fairly cheap, considering its a Porsche anyway

This is an awesome link, not only does it have a bunch of cool shots of all cars but some sweet ones of some P-cars. It is updated allll the time and you can easily spend hours on it

like most of you I've always loved P cars. I have a 996 now but don't drive it much. Not a garage queen by any means but it just isn't practical the way it's set up. When my last e30 caught on fire I was looking at picking up an older air cooled project but then I found the 87 vert on CL and had to have it. It's a safe bet I'll have an air cooled to play with within the next few years.
