my dog chewed up my last g-shock when she was puppy. I used to brag about how bad ass it was, able to be frozen/ boiled etc. Then a 4- month old Basset hound comes along and destroys it in the 2 hours I was gone. Go figure.

Edit: oh you said high rolling. nevermind

I rock a low class Bulova 96G25. It tells time and that's all I ask of it.

I rock a casio at work (not gonna wear a 3k breitling aerospace to get the analog/digital combo) either the old style diver or my pathfinder, while not way up there money wise and are quartz, they are great for durability and quality and to wear when you might beat a watch up.

the fact that any watch made it past the 20min mark with a teething puppy is a achievement

Breitling, Anonimo, Oris & Luminox. Working on an Omega,Breitling, and a Rollie hopefully before the year's out. I may have to shift some of the other one's and 2-3 sets of rims to help the madness.

I would not worry about it so much for now. When you get done with school and your pay is catching up with the things you've always fancied then that will be the time to purchase. Your appreciation for them will only get better because they will be earmarks for your accomplishments.

Yeah, i mean i could save up for one but it seems foolish at this point. IM actually pretty happy with what i have.

The only ones of note, still relatively cheap are a seiko, a titanium pulsar, titanium boccia, a dufonte (mostly rectangular style) a geoffrey been watch that looks great but is a pile, and a few others

It would be foolish. You're better off putting that money elsewhere.

That's quite the collection. I have a Breitling Navitimer (white face, gold dials, gold bezel, brown leather bad- beautiful) as well as a Seiko chronograph (gold, black face- I get more compliments from people on this watch than the breitling). I also have a cheap Orvis watch that I'm not a huge fan of, and a Luminox I am scared to wear. (First time I wore it in an airplane, we had to shut the engine down and glide in for a landing. Never wearing that watch again to fly with.)

                          i have no idea!
i found it in the park walking the dog with a broken rubber dive band. i took it to the only ORIS dealer in AZ 9right up the street from my house) and got a "tune up" swevixe done on it and ordered a new dive band. the watch repair guy was into E30s and we bs'ed for a while. when i came back to pick it up he only charged me for the band ($150) and not for the service (another $150). he told me the watch was around 5K new.

i have tried to find out the model, but never found a match.

i just like it because it is a very nice dive watch, not many people know what an ORIS is, and it has no diamond. gold etc etc. best of all it was FREE!

I got a $15 timex 5 years ago for work that gets the shit beat out of daily and works like a champ, and a Movado series 800 that is only worn when going out and the chrono is already out of adjustment 10 months after I bought it.... Also own a sieko something or other that is 8 years old and works like a charm.

For the money I think the jap movt keep great time and are very durable. Swiss watches are nice but over-rated.

That said I love Omega's and Brietlings

Side note-If you like Omega's, have you seen their newer version of the Plo-prof? I really like it in pictures. I just need to see it in person and on my wrist to really convince me.

Its not nearly as nice as the early 70's version.

Any ideas where I can get a Seamaster planet ocean?
