tag. can't be bothered with anything else, tags are like e30s, like a rock and you can wear them all day long no matter what your doing.

I had a Seiko Titanium Kinetic with the navy blue face and gold hands that I bought just after I graduated in 2000. I wore that thing everywhere and never took it off. I was so mad when it broke and fell off my wrist when I was snowboarding in '06. I haven't purchased a watch since then. The first few months, it was so hard to adjust to not wearing a watch after always having one since I was about 4 years old. This thread is inspiring me to get back into watches.

      I want this ORIS watch:

good choice but for much less money you can get a Hamilton X-wind that has the same movement and a very similar style.

        hami khaki x-match

Dude there are so many that are out there that are like that, Omega, Hamilton, Marathon, Oris, Rolex, Briteling, nearly all of them are designed to be rugged as fuck and got to hell and back and keep ticking.

Omega has the only watch to go in to space an on the moon ( you buy the very same to day its the Speedmaster pro), Off shore rig divers use rolex subs and omega planet oceans to time their dive times, I think Hamilton is still the standard issue for navy pilots and for many other armed services around the world.

I get that and that is fine, just saying is that you are ruling out ton of great watches is all, I am not a big fan of Tag, I am a omega guy my self and have a penchant for hamis too.

I love watches and used to collect them. As I got older though, I kept only a few watches: my Casio wave-ceptor (my favorite), my dad's russian commander watch (from 70s), and my grandpas gold Seico (from 1950).

I love expensive chronos, but it never made sense to me to one them, especially since I never wear a watch.

Just discovered www.chronoshark.com. They seem to get just about everything.

I'm not a watch snob though, so...

Good prices there and stuff I like comes up pretty often. passwirdrocks is the coupon code for that place. Only saves a couple bucks but whatever.

I run with this ORIS TT Day/Date. Automatic, Swiss made. The band is designed after an F1 Tire. Maybe 9-10 year old.

I have aa Omega Speedmaster but it needs service, so I am currently wearing a St Moritz Titan II made of titanium. It is basicaly a knock off of an IWC made Porche watch.

I really like Ulysse Nardin but I think a super charger comes first.
