Both of my machines are still running XP and I love it, and yes both are new enough that they vista was standard when I got them.

Plus, for those people having issues with running XP designed programs in 7, XP is built into 7 as a virtual machine. You shouldnt have ANY issues. Im support about 70 pieces of tax/accounting software at my job and they are all meant for XP. No issues so far.
Biggest hiccup seems to be permissions.Comment

I've been running on the 7100 beta and RC1 since earlier this year, looking to finally upgrade to the 64bit Pro version. I like my RC1 but it's x86 nd it's only 10 bux for an upgrade from school!Comment

pirated OS isnt that big of a headache if you get the right one. I have a copy of XP Pro that passes validation and works with windows update that is pirated.
