Update: I found someone with an edu email to let me use it. I now have multiple working copies! NOTE, you can purchase multiple KEYS with the same address.

So if you are so inclined, there might be a way to share cheap win7. I would help but I might have over extended my welcome with multiple purchases through someone elses email address. I will revisit in a week or two and buy some more. If it happens, Ill start sharing them here.

It means you can buy more than one copy using the same email.

Guys, when you were buying was this home premium or could you get professional or ultimate?

My g/f has an edu email and its cheap enough that no matter what I will buy it to have another legit copy. Im just wondering about the other versions because Home doesnt have XP built in. Will need it for her machine for certain apps.

i am getting my windows 7 free from Dell. i ordered this laptop about 2 months ago and signed up for the free windows 7 a week after. it just shipped out today. i'm so stoked for it. i loved XP but it was boring. Vista is all eye candy and it takes up a lot of space. I'm SO stoked about getting windows 7.

Stupid cheap offer only lasts a month. Besides, its not like you have to install it next tuesday. Just buy it and download the SP when it comes.

It means you can buy more than one copy using the same email.

That's what I figured but it didn't work for me...it said "one or more items must be removed from your cart because they can not be processed" bullshit.

Oh well guess I will just stick with my original plan:

Just installed it. My laptop is taking longer to start up, but once everything gets going, no lag issues. Doesn't seem too much cooler but I didn't really play around with it yet. But do you guys think I have enough power to run 7 effectively?

AMD dual core 2.10GHz, 64 bit
4 Gb ram. system property says 3.75 usable.
