Well the document I received in the mail told me exactly what file it was, what movie it was, where I downloaded it from, when I downloaded it, all IP address information, etc. I downloaded this torrent, watched a few minutes, realized it was shit quality and I could watch it when it comes out soon, and deleted it moments later. That was on 17 September, the letter came on Saturday 24 October.

from what they are telling me here in Germany, it isn't really about the downloading that the problem lies-- it is that others can then get it from you. unfortunately here in Germany this crap has really blown up---
the lawyers that do this crap sued Telekom for the rights to be able to find your location via your ISP.
So I am loosing money anyway you look at it-- one company wants 880 euros, the other 400-- one for a Pink song, the other for some crap ass techno shit--

I am denying it till the end, (guess a neighbor got into my W lan)( but they say that doesnt matter/my job to secure it--even though hackers get into the pentagon computers)and am paying another lawyer to fight them-- wish me luck.

Wow, that is shitty man, good luck with fighting it. I, too, would use the neighbor story if I was presented with a similar situation. I could always hide the notebook if two men in suits arrived at my door.

Yeah, I got it right when it came out with the alpha version. It wasn't as good as transmission, but I see they have a beta now. Any better? I just haven't tried because transmission is working fine ATM.
