Gran Turismo 5

Holy shit. Went with my buddy to his friend's house/shop today to have him look at a stator for my motorcycle. Come to find out the guy has GT5.

He has like $50,000 in Snap On, etc. and a killer shop. Anyways... he built a custom racing setup for his G27. He weled up a base to hold any seat, he had a sparco in it to take pics but now he just has an integra seat.

The wheel is a bitch to race with, its like a workout to just steer. Lol and my friend Chris (he's 45) tried the rally racing and instinctively would heel toe the pedals on some corners. Hahaha

my current fastest times
Tsukuba - 1:06.932 (272! - 1.6 sec back from 1st)
Rome - 1:23.458 (63 - 1.6 sec back from 1st)
Ring - 2:56.972 (230 - 10.3 sec back from 1st)


Can you tell which track most people have raced/know???


I've spent very little time on Tsukuba, most time on Rome. Spent a fair amount of time, but only have a handful of countable laps on the Ring - watch the curbs on that one, they can throw the car a bit - I think I've 'tried' every curb... :|

One thing I did wish GT5 had that Forza has is ranking among friends. That way I can know how far back from kamotors.....


I keep getting distracted with making my B-spec drivers race my pink miata....

i have 13 mill that i have no clue what to do with lol. I have my formula gran turismo, both the 190E Evolution AND the 190E Evolution Touring car, Starion rally car most of the old school classics that ive always wanted IRL. Once you get your Formula Gran Turismo cash comes with ease. Wish I could use these in game credits to buy me a wheel lmao

How you get so much money?

lvl 26 in both specs. Once I got the Formula Gran Turismo it was easy. It knocks out laps at the indy speedway in about 37/38 seconds. so youre looking at around 4 min for about 100k.. rinse and repeat.
