I played Forza 3 a few weeks ago and was pretty impressed, and I'm a Gran Turismo die hard. I learned a lot about driving and vehicle dynamics before even getting my license due to the GT series. I have to say that Forza 3 is pretty amazing. The details are amazing, the main screens are simple (like an iPod almost), and the physics are pretty badass -- plus it has backroad/mountain road courses which I've had a hard-on for ever since playing 'Dragon Range' on Enthusia.
When driving the E30 M3 in Forza 3 in the in-car cam, the details are awesome. The oil temperature gauge is even where it should be when up to temp, 210 degrees.
But this thread isn't about Forza, I know. But unless Polyphony Digital gets its fucking act together and introduces GT5, I'm about to pull the trigger on a 360 and Forza 3.

Finally found it and downloaded it, I really liked it. With the stock 370z I could feel the brake fade and lock when I slammed on the brakes. Also, the suspension feels soft and weight transfer is a bitch when trying to exit a corner at full speed. Give it too much gas and you'll dorifto right off the track.
The race prepped car on the other hand feels a lot tighter and more responsive. Brake distance is tons better and the suspension feels stiff as hell so it's a lot more forgiving when you make mistakes.
I played for like 2 hours straight and at some points I found myself tensing up when trying to take a corner too fast and hearing traction break.

Found it last night. Played for an hour or so. Went to bed in 5th place. Still a second out on each, though. Am in 8th as of this morning, but 4th-8th are all VERY close.
Physics feel good to me. You have to remember N1 tires are like performance all seasons. And you are driving a semi-heavy, 300 hp car.
Not my favorite track, but is a challenge.
