As long as your drivers are 'shared', anyone can use them any time - doesn't matter what the PS3 is doing. PS3 does not need to be on, your bro could even be playing another game.


example - while 3 of my Bobs are putting a serious whooping on the AI in the 24-hr LeMans (note... NOT in standby mode), FK is being gracious enough to use my other 3 Bobs to kick G.Mooney's arse. (except for that one race where one of my Bob's got the Vantage... fail).

You just need it in 'standby' if you want to start races from a computer/smart-phone.

Damn PD for keeping the super slow Vantage V8 in the one race... 10 seconds a lap slower on SS-5???? with a level 36 driver vs 0 level drivers? I call BS....

i had my lvl 38 driver against your lower level ones and i was getting my ass handed to me..it all in the luck of the draw with the cars.

Each race has their 'star' car that seems to be unbeatable (or at least gives lower level drivers a chance), and the 'K-car' that you simply have no chance in....

RedBull X1 car. gawd damn. Ridiculous.


Took me an hour, but managed to complete the RedBull challenge last night. That one will be a real challenge to get all gold in. Bronze is easily achievable, as long as you can stay on the track. In that ~hour, I only managed to finish the entire 2 laps a total of 5 times. Countless restarts. Either ran wide going WAY too fast (or just not turning enough), or over-turned and shot off the track on the inside of the corner (REALLY early apex....). Or my favorite, tag an apex or exit curb at ~250+ mph and have the car go Sheen on me.... I even managed to barrel roll the car through the air once (wish that saving replay's worked on 'disqualified' laps...).



And then I drove a Cappachino for the hell of it.

I just read that once b-spec drivers go over lvl 30, they do not XP up as fast due to their level. I'm gonna ditch a few of my lvl 32 drivers, and make some fresh ones and see what they can do.

I'm most interested in impact on total B-spec points.

If its true that higher level bobs don't earn as many exp points towards B-spec totals, then I'm dropping all of my bobs except for my guy who should be nearing 'air of excellence' status.

I got the Minolta from a race, I really am only doing license tests to unlock game. I have mostly bronze.

License tests are that hard. All the super ones are just one lap battles, or two lap or what ever.

Those are easy because you can kind of drive like a dick and win no matter what.

Ditto for me. I blew through those pretty fast, only gave myself a few tries on each first time through. Now I sporadically run a few here and there - I'll be happy when I get all silver since I'm only 3 away.

I don't even remember where I got the Minolta from but its fast :D.

Maybe someday I'll go back and try to get all golds - but not likely since the only real reason would be to get the platinum trophy - and I'm not exactly excited about racing A-spec enduros, and without those, no plat trophy. I'd rather race online.
