I need help. I need a car to beat the Historic Racing Cup, in the Expert Series. What cars have you guys used? I have tried a lot of different cars, but I have not got an old racecar yet. Any help would be great...Thanks.

How many of you guys use a wheel and do you think its more fun racing with a wheel over a controller?

pahrow - Toyota 7 is the easy way and you can win it in the "Like the Wind" B-spec race.

If you want a challenge... use a fully modified RM challenger (um, no pun intended...). You have to bully yourself to the front on the first lap then do everything you can to hold on to 1st... It'll force you to drive as clean as possible.


Hfab - I use a wheel when I know its going to be a challenge, when I want to put down some fast laps and about half the time I race online. I do find it more entertaining with the wheel, but sometimes just grabbin the controller is the way to go.


5Toes - love the new sig. tell us how that F1 is. and if it can be used in online play.

A good way to make money is to put your PSNID in the b-spec thread on gtplanet.net, some days I'll find about 7mil to cash in with 6 drivers shared.

Also, PD said DLC will be coming soon, so new tracks and more premium cars will be coming. Lots of nifty stuff coming via the OCD also. I'm buying everything I can in hopes that if they turn cars premium, and you already own them, they will automatically update without having to buy them again.

More tracks, more cars = cool. More premium cars, meh. I don't like the inside the car view (go figure - the movement of the view vs. the car interior sort of makes me car sick...), so only real benefit I see there is wheel changes, etc. I'd like to see more cars capable of RM.


Anyone want to race tonight? A larger group would be sweet...
