Lately, it seems everytime I try to widget, I get a server maint issue.


But... I do like the seasonal races! Finding the minimal car I can still win with can be entertaining.

The new update is up.

Helmet / driver suit changes is sorta cool.
I'll be interested to see if I can actually tell the difference with the AI changes; not holding my breath.
The ability to buy items from the tuning screen is sweet (although weight reduction is not one of the things you can buy there).
Top speed now matches what you set it at in the transmission screen (instead of guessing 10-20 mph lower).
You can now 'pause' within championships. Great idea, bad timing for me since all I have left is the F1 car series and endurance.


extra Bonus in the bonus races for a bit. 3x $/pts. 'for a limited time'. Couple of those races can be run in ~5min, and now give you 300k. And half off cars in the online dealership.


And I'm glad to see some real challenge back in the seasonal events 'pro races'.

playing the carreer mode...kinda upset, bought the sti, mod'd it to hell with my winnings, then find out that it can't compete in any of the races...da fuck!

^Nice! Good style with the E30 seat. Looks comfy and well positioned.

But I see one problem. Well, 2.

1st, no cupholder. You could spill your drink.
2nd - its a bottle of water, not a bottle of beer!!!



(and for the record, yes I do drink and drive GT5)

Time to do the bungee-pedal mod. I installed some metal brackets to use bungees with so that they are not in the way. It is much easier to modulate the brakes now.
