Production, YES WE still turn out the best shit in the world, and most industries turn to us for when it has to be done right and are willing to pay for it. How many days of vacation do we get 2 weeks or so compared to closer to 2 months in Europe, how many hours a day do we work compared o the 4 hour lunches standard in much of Europe Cheap shit comes from where cheap shit is made, we all know this. I just got back from interning at BMW for the last 10 months....and you're quite a bit off base with regards to Germany and workers.

Fact: we only had 45 mins for lunch. That's quite a bit less than four hours, no?

Fact: four weeks paid vacation. More than some companies here in the states, less than others. Not really anything out of the ordinary.

Fact: German Cars, Knives, Tools, manufactured goods last longer than American ones.....you're confusing Chinese crap with European.

Do you have any actual experience working in a foreign European nation for any length of time or are you just going to spout disinformation and idiocy as rote fact?

I think you're just beating the patriotism tree a bit too much, you know as well as everyone else here that most American goods are actually crap, the rest made in China. Very few things are actually made here that are worth buying.
