    Death sucks.

I graduated in June of this year. I knew everyone in my graduating class. On August 10th of this year, a handful of my friends went to the beach as a, 'last hangout before we split to college', trip. Well five of my friends were involved in a horrible car crash. Four of them passed away right then and there. Aja, Amanda, Jason and my buddy Ritchie. I was close to them all. For instance, I went to tolo (girl asks a guy type of dance) with Aja (she was on MTVs Made) and hungout when time allowed. Amanda and I would go to taco bell, that was our thing. I knew Jason since 5th grade, he was our class president and spoke at graduation. And Ritchie was a car guy like me. We had a few classes. Real cool guy. Now the fifth friend is Dustin. He survived with a punctured lung, broken ribs, an insane amount of cuts with glass in him, a cracked skull causing swelling of the brain, and other injuries. It only took him 3 weeks or so to recover, when it normally takes months and months. He's perfectly fine, except with loss of hearing in his left ear.

And today, another buddy of mine whom I have known since 6th grade, and graduated with me and the others above..died today. He kicked cancers ass. He lived everyday as if it was his last. But for the past few weeks he had an unbareable chest pain. He hung himself from all the stress, pain, and other personal issues. He was a real good kid. No one ever saw it coming.

Not sure why I'm writing this..but come on, five friends from my graduating class?? Our lives haven't even begun! We all graduated almost 6 months ago. It's BS. None of this should've happened. All I know is, they ALL will be missed ever so much.

I just needed to get this off my chest.

Go Spuds. The graduating class of 2009 will never forget you guys.

that sucks bro. i never use the words "one last time" or "one more", it leads to bad things. whenever i would go out on my bike with people, most times people would say "one more time", they would crash.

Yo thats rough man. Life can take some pretty harsh turns. Just keep on living for them and dont forget about the times you shared together. Thats the most important thing.

It can be sureal. Had a buddy of mine get drunk at a party and fight everyone to get the keys to his motorcycle. Then he blast past everyone on a way to another party only to be found crashed into a freeway underpass with the bike on fire.
Imagine rolling up on that. BTW, freeway underpasses are like popcorn ceiling texture except they are concrete.

This happened years ago in my senior year. Will never forget such an event.

I am empathetic to your loss and they sound like they were great friends and people. The heartache will tend to pass , but the memories will live forever.

This is true. Let's just not lose you now. Keep a clear head and know your path. Keep your head strong and your will absolute and you will lead a good life. Remember the time you spent with them and learn what you can from it.

i had a good buddy die in a car accident half a year after i graduated hs. him and 2 others.

Just the other day there was another car accident that someone i knew was in, he was the driver. Him and everyone else was drunk. Hes getting charged with homicide because one guy in the backseat didnt have his seatbelt and went through the window.

And earlier today i herd that there was another car accident in the town next to me where the guy and girl both died.

Im not to much in the mood to drive anytime soon.

Unfortunately, the combination of high-school/college kids + partying + driving frequently ends badly.

All you can do is learn to take driving seriously and encourage your friends to do the same. The BMW CCA Street Survival school is a good place to start.

I saw that thing in your sig a while ago, I was wondering what it was about.

Back when I graduated high school there was a girl that died in a car accident. I didn't know her that well, but it was incredibly sad when they showed a video of her at graduation. She was like 4 months away from graduating.

It's gotta be tough to lose people so close to you so young.

I started to tear up when reading these responses. It makes me happy to see people being supportive.
