Germany: becuase both of my maternal grandparents came from Hannover
Austria: because i always wanted to visit and have done a lot of reading about it
Finnland: i had a Finnish roommate/friend who always used to talk about home and showed me all kinds of pics.
Norway: seems like a beautiful country to live in. would have to see how i did with the cold in Finnland or Norway though
Australia: because i used to bang a girl from Australia and that accent made me giddy. = would go nuts in a country where every woman had that accent! it is also a climate closer to what i am used to. the gun thing would suck though.

Living in Thailand right now, been here for one year, at least one year (maybe two) to go.

Lots of positives, lots of negatives. Difficult and time-consuming to get permanent residence status here.
